$13 billion tourism investment pipeline in Queensland to deliver jobs
Strong investor confidence in Queensland’s tourism potential has seen the State’s tourism infrastructure pipeline increase to $13 billion in the past year. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said more than 30 significant infrastructure investment projects proposed for development between now and 2022 were valued at $13 billion. “These projects located across the state from the Gold Coast to Cairns will create thousands of jobs, inject billions into the economy and make us a more attractive destination for tourists,” she said.
