One of the priorities for the Australian Institute of Building is to support its members and the wider Australian Building and Construction profession with both relevant and innovative continuing professional development (CPD).
Our association with PointsBuild goes back many years. In concert with organisations such as the AIB, PointsBuild aim to be the leading provider of online professional development, education and training courses. We have worked closely with them in delivering a refreshed program to both members and non- members of the Institute.
Through our Chapters, we take pride in working towards a more integrated and nationally coordinated program of both online and face to face course delivery.
Members are now strongly encouraged to maintain a level of involvement in continuing professional development. A minimum of 70 points over three years has been set as a guide with a minimum of 20 points each year which is a combination of both online and other methods of delivery (eg: face to face). Members are able to record their CPD activities on their member record through the member only section of our website.
Once you have selected a course/s and placed them in your shopping cart, you will be asked to provide your AIB membership number at the time of checkout. This will then automatically entitle you to your member discount.
The courses in the following document are recognised as CPD activities and show the credits that can be claimed each time they are completed together with the maximum number of credits that can be claimed in any one year.
