New AIB Fellows to be Inducted at NSW Parliament House

On Wednesday 13 March 2013 in the Strangers Lounge at NSW Parliament House, the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) NSW Chapter will be holding the Fellows Friends and Families Presentation, where a range of eminent and deserving individuals will be formally inducted as Fellows of the Australian Institute of Building.

Fellow is the highest rank of the Institute, and is reserved for those held in very high esteem in the profession, and have an outstanding history of achievement and excellence in the industry.

The Guest of Honour at this event is The Honourable Anthony Roberts MP, Minister for Fair Trading, who will be presenting.

This event will be attended by key individuals in the building and construction industry, and demonstrates how the AIB is supporting leadership and encouraging professionalism in building both in New South Wales and across Australia, which in turn plays a role in developing and strengthening the building and construction industry.

An update will be provided on a range of key AIB initiatives, and this event will be the first of a number of similar events across Australia.

Media opportunities include interviews with the Minister, and AIB National President, Mr Robert Whittaker FAIB. Acknowledgement must be given to Mr Whittaker for efforts in making this event happen, and all of his volunteer efforts for the AIB.
