OVER $3 BILLION IN NEW HOTEL DEVELOPMENTS FOR PERTH (WA)

Perth and Fremantle are experiencing a game-changing increase in hotel developments that will see nearly 4000 new hotel rooms worth more than $3 billion opening and being built before 2020. Crown Towers Perth is the most recent opening, adding 500 rooms to the market with an investment of over $650 million. The latest hotel intelligence report released today by the Australian Hotels Association (WA), shows that Perth is leading Australia in the establishment of new hotels, redevelopments and first rate accommodation that will set the scene for the state’s leisure, corporate and hospitality market for the next 20 years. AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods, said “investment has come from both Australian and international developers, along with major hotel management companies.”
