BAN DODGY CLADDING ON BUILDING SITES (FED)

As a result of “alarming” evidence at a Senate inquiry this week in Sydney, Senator Nick Xenophon is demanding an immediate ban on the importation and use of aluminium wall cladding containing polyethylene in buildings in Australia.

He is also calling for tighter regulation on all building sites with an independent watchdog appointed to police and enforce the Australian Building Code
